HSS FLEXIBLE hand hacksaw blades made of HSS steel are hardened only in the tooth area. The heat treatment produces longitudinal areas in the blade with varying hardness, the tooth area reaching a hardness of 64 +/- 1 HRC, followed by an area of gradually decreasing hardness. This heat treatment process gives the blade flexibility. HSS FLEXIBLE blades are designed for intensive cutting and ensure maximum performance. We use only HSS steel from ERASTEEL KLOSTER AB, Sweden, to manufacture these saw blades, which allows us to guarantee the excellent and consistent quality of these tools.
